DESIGN THESIS: LEARNING STYLES
The final year thesis comprised two key components: 1. the research thesis and 2. a design artefact that embodies the thesis. The second component focused on Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the mainstream education context. It examined SEN through a neurodiverse lens, where neurodiversity refers to the various neurological differences encompassed by SEN learners. The artefact is designed to elucidate these neurological differences through a series of booklets utilising augmented reality to explore diverse learning styles and how individuals acquire knowledge.

Project Overview: The Challenge
This project aimed to create an artefact that effectively communicated the concept of diverse learning styles and preferences. The goal was to educate learners on the notion that neurodiversity is a natural aspect of human development, emphasising that there is no universally right or wrong approach to learning.

Augmented Reality Prototype
The prototype is an innovative solution to engage users in understanding and appreciating different learning modalities through interactive experiences.
